“ Been here before and remembered having good food. Came by again for lunch. Bf said it was the best fish and chips he had. It was cooked perfectly. Had the Mac and cheese and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was 10/10 and service was exceptional. Bartender was super friendly. ”

“ The live music was very good!! We had a reservation for our large group and were overall happy with our table placement and the willingness to accommodate us. Our waiter, while making a few understandable mistakes, was able to maintain a cheerful attitude and was super friendly!!! The menu had a lot of options to select from, and no one at our table had complaints about their meal. The drink options were also exceptional; rarely do you see a selection of mocktails beyond just a shirley temple. They had a wide range of mocktails, including mojitos and margaritas, so that everyone at the table had an interesting drink. I would definitely come back. ”

“ Came here with family on a Sunday night (9 pm) during happy hour. It was not busy at this time so we got a table right away. We had never heard of this place before so we weren’t sure what to expect but after trying the food, we were pleasantly surprised! We got the nacho platter, calamari, parmesan fries, pork & kimchi gyoza, J’s extreme beef burger, and fish & chips. Everything was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were pretty good, even for the happy hour items. We also tried their homemade carrot cake and sticky toffee pudding (not pictured) and those were so delicious as well! The staff were all nice and helpful! The lovely owner came to our table to chat with us and he was very welcoming and friendly. The place is also spacious, very clean, and well-kept. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family. ”

“ I feel like I’ve eaten my way through the J Club menu. Everything is fresh and you can taste the difference between the homemade food here and the prepackaged food you get elsewhere. The service is consistently good and the owner is always around talking to tables. They have a diverse menu, like in Cactus Club or Moxies, but it’s independently owned. The atmosphere is casual and I can take my family here, have brunch with girlfriends, or go for a date night. In my opinion, this is the best spot in the deep south east of Calgary. ”

“ It was our first visit to J club tonight and it was fantastic! We ordered a beef dip and cheeseburger, and had carrot cake for dessert. I also enjoyed a peach bellini. The waitress was fantastic, and we really enjoyed talking with her. The owner came by and introduced himself, which was really kind. The carrot cake is a popular item. It was the perfect end to our meal. It was light with lots of flavor, and came with a side of lemon sherbet. We will definitely be back to try some more dishes. Thank you for a great dinner out tonight. ”
